1960s Dal Vera Stacking Chairs for Charlotte Perriand Les Arcs Resort Set of 6
Listed for sale is a set of stacking chairs, believed to be produced by the Italian manufacturer Dal Vera. Charlotte Perriand had selected the chairs for use in the Les Arcs ski resort in France. This gorgeous set of six chairs came from a notable estate in North Carolina, along with some special pieces from Laverne and Venini. Charlotte Perriand began designing the project at Les Arcs in 1967 and it continued until 1982. The cognac leather shows a lovely patina and frames are nicely worn in as well. The price listed includes all six chairs. We believe these to be authentic examples by Dal Vera, however, they are not signed. The tube is also thicker than other versions produced, though it's possible that the production methods and spec may have varied over time.
