1946 Otw Coffee Table By Ray And Charles Eames For Evans Products Company in Birch with Black Top
This is an original OTW Coffee Table, designed by Charles and Ray Eames and manufactured by the Evans Products Company in 1946. The acronym OTW stands for Oblong (O) Table (T) with a Wood (W) base. The piece is constructed from 5 thin layers of birch plywood, and it has a black rectangular top.
This piece measures 35 inches long, 24 inches wide, and 15.5 inches high. We have intentionally left this piece in its original untouched condition, and it has not been refinished. The top was repainted black at some point. The base and top show scratches scrapes and nicks. The wood has a deep patina and looks quite lovely. Overall, this table is in good vintage condition with use and time apparent. Please see photos.
