Listed for sale is a super rare and original Eames for Herman Miller 1955 PSC chair with wire top and 671 (Eames ottoman variant) pedestal contract base. 
 
This piece can be dated due to the use of this base typology, as this was just prior to the introduction of the Eames lounge chair and ottoman in 1956. 
The example for sale has a lovely patina with some wear and signs of use. See photos. There are a few imperfections to the wire, seemingly from light spot weld repairs.
