SOLD 2022 258L Barcelona Couch / Daybed by Mies van der Rohe for Knoll
This is a Barcelona Couch / Daybed, originally designed by Mies van der Rohe in 1930. This particular example was produced by Knoll in 2022. It features a tubular polished steel frame, and a base of lacquered Sapele Mahogany. It retains its original tufted olive green leather upholstery, which was a custom upgrade.
This bench measures 78 inches in width, 40 inches in length and is 17 inches high. The piece is In truly fantastic condition, it is very clean and has seen little use aside from minuscule wear from transporting it. Knoll labels and markings are present on the underside. It was acquired directly from a Knoll employee, who got it from a company sale. It has never been used in a home or office setting. Please see photos.
