This is a set of four Saarinen Armless Executive Chairs, model 72C, designed by Eero Saarinen for Knoll International in 1950. These particular examples were produced in the USA in 2023. The listed price includes the set of four chairs. Their design features an upholstered seat and back, and the legs are formed of tubular steel with a black-enameled finish. Their red fabric is Knoll’s own Dottie line, in the colorway Redwood.

Each chair measures 20.5 inches deep, 22.5 inches wide, and 31.5 inches high. They have a seat height of 18.75 inches. The frames are in excellent condition, but may show an errant scrape or scratch. The fabric is in similarly pristine condition. These chairs were acquired from a Knoll employee who picked them up at an employee sale. To our knowledge, they have never been used in a home or office setting. Overall, this set is in excellent condition with minimal if any wear. Please see photos.
