This is an Eames Aluminum Group Soft Pad Executive Desk Chair, Model EA437, initially designed by Charles and Ray Eames for Herman Miller in 1969. This example dates to the 2010s. The design features a lightweight polished aluminum frame with a seat upholstered in a black leather. The seats have plush cushions that are 2 inches thick, and this example sports a 5-star base on casters with a manual lift mechanism.

The chair measures 23.75 inches deep, 22.5 inches wide, and 40 inches high with a seat height of 18.5 inches. The black leather upholstery is in terrific condition without any notable marks that we can see. The arms have been freshly polished and look pristine, whereas the rest of the frame shows some light wear. Overall, this chair is in very good to excellent condition with some light wear apparent.
