Listed for sale is an authentic pair of black walnut Kornblut special bedside cases by Mira Nakashima. The pair is in perfect condition and shows absolutely no signs of wear or even use. The black walnut used in these cases has delicate and expressive figure. It also features burl handles, which bring about a sculptural and freeform quality to otherwise relatively angular cases. Original drawings, documentation, and receipts will also be included with the cases.
The Kornblut design was created by George Nakashima prior to his passing in 1990. Mira Nakashima continues his legacy and produces pieces of an identical calibre with a similarly phenomenal design sensibility.
