Listed for sale is an exceptionally rare pair of Eames dowel-legged wire chairs from the early 1950’s, likely 1951. The chairs both have original bases and legs appear to be walnut. The chairs are nicely patina’d with nice wear to the dowel legs. 

 

Price listed includes both chairs.


Seats

The wire seats are strong and tight. Enamel is not stripped or flaking. 

 

Bases

Walnut Dowel legs show wear to the original finish (desirable to most collectors as it shows that they are genuinely vintage). Wire is strong and in nice shape.
