SOLD Florence Knoll Vintage Rosewood and Marble Credenza Cabinet Sideboard Finished Back
Up for sale is a rare and beautiful Florence Knoll rosewood and marble credenza/sideboard/file cabinet. With regard to condition, the piece is excellent cosmetically. Drawer faces are for the most part perfect. Sides are excellent also. Important to note is that this example was purchased with fabulously expensive Calcutta Gold marble as a top, making this a very pricey piece in terms of its specs. Back is finished and rosewood also.
Cabinet measures 37.5 inch W 18 inch D 25.5 inch H.
Wood: Edges are crisp and grain is lovely. The inner parts of the drawer are oak. The oak is still strong and stable, with joinery holding up beautifully. The inner frame of the cabinet is also in excellent condition.
Metal: The base of this cabinet is chromed steel. The base is not pitted and gleams nicely. Original hardware is still present and locking mechanism will come along with it as well.
Marble: The marble is in excellent condition for its age. The top is still smooth and polished. There are some signs of use, but generally excellent.
