This is a Platner Coffee Table, model 3714T, originally designed by Warren Platner for Knoll in 1966. This particular example dates to the 2000s. The listed price includes one table, and we have several on hand for purchase. Their design features a polished nickel-plated steel base and has a substantial ½ inch thick tempered glass top. The base is constructed of vertical steel rods welded to circular horizontal and edge-framing rods. It is truly a work of art in itself.

Each table measures 36 inches in diameter and is 15.25 inches high. The bases are very slightly patinated. The glass tops are clean and in excellent condition with beveled-edge. The tops are specified similarly to match the original Knoll top, though the glass appears to be a replacement. The bases are guaranteed as authentic Knoll examples. Overall, these Platner tables are in very good condition with light wear. Please see photos.
