This is an Eames Aluminum Group Soft Pad Executive-Height Desk Chair, Model EA420, originally designed by Charles and Ray Eames for Herman Miller in 1968. This example dates to 2008. Its design features a frame of polished aluminum and has smooth dark green leather upholstery. The seat and back have plush cushions that are 2 inches thick.

The chair measures 23.75 inches deep, 22.5 inches wide, and 40 inches high, adjustable to 42 inches. It has a minimum seat height of 18.5 inches that is adjustable to 20.5 inches. It has a seat depth of 16.5 inches. There is some light patina present, and some wear apparent around the corners of the leather. The aluminum base has some light rubs and slight spots. If you'd like us to try and polish the base further prior to shipping, just let us know. The arms have been freshly polished and look near immaculate. Overall, this chair is in very good condition with light wear. Please see photos.
