2019 DSW Side Chair with Dowel Base by Charles and Ray Eames for Herman Miller in Ebonized Wood 1x Available
This is an Eames DSW Side Chair, originally designed by Ray and Charles Eames for Herman Miller in 1948. These particular examples were produced by Herman Miller in the USA in 2019. The listed price includes one chair and we have several available for individual sale. These chairs feature molded wood shells that are ebonized, and have black dowel bases. DSW is an acronym for Dining Height Side Chair Wood Base. The wood version was not introduced until quite recently, as these were historically made in fiberglass.
Each chair measures 20.87 inches deep, 17.72 inches wide, and 31.5 inches high. They have a seat height of 16.93 inches. These chairs are in very good to excellent condition with some wear from use. Please see photos.
