1970s FK6725 Bird Chair by Preben Fabricius and Jorgen Kastholm for Alfred Kill International in Ivory Leather
This is an original high back Bird Chair, model FK6725, also commonly referred to as the Tulip chair. It was initially referred to as The Bucket Chair by its designers, Preben Fabricius and Jorgen Kastholm. The piece was manufactured in Germany by Alfred Kill International. Its design features a fiberglass shell and retains its original off-white leather upholstery. It appears that the leather color may have been restored, though the leather itself remains original This version has a 5-star steel base with casters.
The chair measures 25.2 inches deep, 29.14 inches wide, and 43.41 inches high. The leather has creasing from use. The corners and edges show some wear. Overall, the condition is good with light wear. Please see photos.
