This is a Platner Lounge Chair, model 1715L, initially designed by Warren Platner for Knoll in 1966. These examples date to the 1960s. The listed price includes one chair, and we have four chairs available for purchase. The frames of these chairs are composed of nickel-plated steel rods that are welded together, and the seats are upholstered in a dark silver grey geometrically patterned fabric.
Each chair measures 25.5 inches long, 36.25 inches wide, and is 30.25 inches tall. Their seat height is 18.5 inches. The chair frames have patina present on the nickel-plated steel. The fabric is in decent shape, though there is wear apparent around the arms, and there is loose fabric protruding from the bottom of the seats. There are also some small holes and stains. Reupholstery is recommended. Overall, these chairs are in solid vintage condition with signs of age and use. Please see photos.
