1960s Florence Knoll Executive Desk in Walnut and Chrome
This is a Small Executive Desk, model 502B-BWM, designed by Florence Knoll for Knoll Associates in 1952. This example dates to the 1960s. The doors, sides, and back are constructed with walnut panels, and the legs are of chromed steel. The privacy panel is also walnut. The piece has two drawers, including one file drawer. The top is faux walnut-grained laminate, which is exceptionally resilient.
The desk measures 32 inches deep, 66 inches wide, and 29 inches high. The walnut has been recently refinished and looks terrific. There are some scuffs and scrapes on the legs, and a very small chip on one corner of the laminate. Overall, this desk is in very good condition. Please see photos.
