1993 PAO Floor Lamp by Matteo Thun for Arteluce Italy in Cherry and Glass
This is a PAO Floor Lamp, initially designed by Matteo Thun for Arteluce in Italy in 1993. This example was produced in the mid-1990s. It features a frosted glass shade with an opaline blown-glass diffuser, and it has a cherry wood base. The piece offers a foot switch, and has a dimmer function. It is labeled on the bottom of the base as shown.
This lamp measures 12 inches deep, 17 inches wide, and stands 74 inches tall. The lamp is in good shape, with some light scratches on the wood. There is a very small crack on the top of the frame that has been repaired. Overall, this important lamp is in very good condition. Please see photos.
