1960s Moduline Rosewood Loveseat / Sofa by Ole Gjerlov-Knudsen and Torben Lind
This is a Moduline Loveseat Settee, designed in 1962 by Ole Gjerlov-Knudsen and Torben Lind for France & Son of Denmark. It has a frame of rosewood, and the seats are upholstered in a tweedy brown material. The wood used for the arms has a beautiful grain, and the exposed joinery at the corners adds a classic Danish touch.
The sofa measures 30 inches deep, 52 inches wide, and 27 inches high. It has a seat height of 16 inches, and an arm height of 20.5 inches. The seat cushions have some small rips on their undersides, and one cushion has a stain. There are some scuffs and scrapes on the rosewood frame, but nothing serious. The piece retains its label.
