SOLD 1960's Herman Miller Eames Lounge Chair & Ottoman Rosewood 670 671 Tan Leather
Listed for sale is an original vintage mid 1960's Herman Miller Eames lounge chair and ottoman. The set is in excellent condition and has beautiful Brazillian rosewood panels along with supple, quality leather cushions. The Herman Miller label is still present on the chair and is a silver, round label used for chairs made by Herman Miller but sold in Canada (this one from Toronto).
Cushions:
They are soft and properly plump. No tears or rips are present on any of the cushions. Cushions are correct and down filled. Some wear to seat and armrests. Normal and lovely patina.
Wood:
The rosewood shells are in excellent condition. Gorgeous panels minimal if any notable nicks and scratches. two veneer repairs were done on the seat panel by a masterful woodworker. It looks absolutely perfect and can barely even be noticed up close.
Shock Mounts:
The shock mounts appear to be holding strong and are in nice shape.
Bases and Metal
The aluminum bases are in great condition. The feet move nicely, paint is all there, and aluminum looks great.
