SOLD 1960s Set of Eight Hans Wegner Wishbone Chairs for Carl Hansen of Denmark in Oak
Listed for sale is a set of eight vintage 1960s wishbone chairs in oak, designed by Hans Wegner, produced by Carl Hansen. It's an exceptionally rare set in that larger sets of vintage examples are very hard to come by, especially in the natural wood tones. Six of the chairs had the seats re-woven in 2020. Two additional chairs were acquired separately and retained their slightly more worn-in rush. Overall, the set is in very good vintage condition. A couple of chairs have wear to the Y shaped piece as noted in the photos, which is fairly typical.
If interested, we may have 2-4 additional chairs available, two of which may have some repairs, but are fully usable.
The chairs measure 30 inches tall by 21.5 inches wide and 20 inches deep.
