SOLD 1976 Michel Cadestin and Georges Laurent Beaubourg Chair Teda France Pompidou
Listed for sale is an original Beaubourg chair from the Centre Georges Pompidou in Paris. The chair was designed by Michel Cadestin and Georges Laurent as part of a design competition conceived of from Richard Rogers and Renzo Piano. Jean Prouvé was the juror for this competition and thus, the chair's design had been vetted by some of the world's most extraordinary architects and designers.
This particular example is in very good vintage condition with some light wear from use over time. It is a striking design with a fabulous story behind it. See photos.
