1980s Nicos Zographos Grey Leather Bucket Desk Chairs with Alpha Bases 2x Available
Listed for sale is one (the price listed is for one chair, but two are available) very rare Nicos Zographos rolling bucket desk chairs in gray leather with polished stainless steel alpha bases. The chairs are in very good to excellent vintage condition showing some wear from use and light wear to the bases (see photos). The chairs retain their original Zographos labels and date to circa late 1980s.
As noted, the price listed is for one chair. Two chairs are available.
For reference, Nicos Zographos, the renowned industrial designer, became a household name at Skidmore, Owings, and Merrill (SOM) architects during the late 1950's and continued to have a relationship with the architectural firm for many decades. He split off to form Zographos Designs Limited. Zographos pieces are known for their uncompromising craftsmanship and quality of materials.
Each chair measures 38 inches tall by 28 inches wide and 28 inches deep. They height is adjustable.
