SOLD 1982 Rare Mario Botta Chrome Postmodern Seconda Chair for Alias Furniture of Italy
Listed for sale is a rare chrome variant of the Seconda chair, designed by Mario Botta and produced by Alias of Italy. Botta is a Swiss-born architect and hugely influential designer primarily known for his work from the postmodern era. This Seconda chair is an iconic example of his design work in furniture. While others are painted and fully constructed from metal, this example instead uses a chromed steel frame with leather upholstery. Condition overall is very good to excellent with some light wear from use. The chair was produced circa 1982.
