SOLD 4x Hans Wegner Round The Chair Johannes Hansen Denmark For Knoll Teak Armchairs
Listed for sale is an original set of 4 "The Chairs," designed by Hans Wegner and crafted by Johannes Hansen in Denmark. They were bought from the original owner and date to the 60's/70's. These particular examples are teak and are in fantastic condition for earlier examples. The chairs are fully marked and tagged.
With reference to condition of all chairs, condition is superb. One chair (as shown in photo 8) had a small repair made to the left side finger joint. It was masterfully repaired and can barely be recognized.
The price listed is for all four chairs. Another set of seven in Danish oak are available and I can likely track others down in oak or teak if you wish.
Frame
Teak structure is in superb condition with light signs of wear and use.
Upholstery
The seats looks like they've rarely been sat on and foam is in great shape beneath.
