C. 1961 Set of Four La Fonda Chairs by Charles and Ray Eames for Herman Miller in Green Fabric
This is a set of four DSL chairs, originally designed by Ray and Charles Eames in 1961. These particular examples were produced by Herman Miller in the USA C. 1961. The chairs are comprised of a fiberglass shell seat upholstered in a green fabric atop a cast aluminum La Fonda base. DSL is an acronym for Dining Height Side Chair La Fonda Base. The listed price includes all four chairs to be sold as a set.
Each chair measures 20 inches deep, 18.75 inches wide, and 29 inches high with a seat height of 18.5 inches. Overall, the chairs are in good vintage condition with expected wear from use. Please see photos.
